✧ Entry of Transgender into Women's Spaces, and Mention of Differences on Opinions Regarding That Matter

أَخْبَرَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ رَبَاحِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ كَلَامًا مَعْنَاهُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَإِذَا مُخَنَّثٌ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ وَكَانُوا يَعُدُّونَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أُولِي الْإِرْبَةِ فَسَمِعَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا إِذَا أَقْبَلَتْ أَقْبَلَتْ بِأَرْبَعٍ وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ أَدْبَرَتْ بِثَمَانٍ يَنْعَتُ امْرَأَةً فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَلَا أَرَى هَذَا يَعْلَمُ مَا هَاهُنَا لَا يَدْخُلَنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاحْجُبُوهُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered while a mukhannath was with some of his wives, and they used to consider him among those without desire. The Prophet ﷺ heard him describing a woman, saying: "When she approaches, she approaches with four, and when she turns away, she turns away with eight." The Prophet ﷺ said: "Do I not see that this one knows what is here? He must never enter upon you; veil him."
