أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ نَصْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مَحْمُودٍ عَنْ عِتْبَانَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ السُّيُولَ تَحُولُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ مَسْجِدِ قَوْمِي فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ تَأْتِيَنِي فَتُصَلِّي فِي مَكَانٍ مِنْ بَيْتِي أَتَّخِذُهُ مَسْجِدًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «سَنَفْعَلُ» فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ» فَأَشَرْتُ لَهُ إِلَى نَاحِيَةٍ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَصَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ

✧ He said: O Messenger of Allah, the torrents come between me and the mosque of my people, so I would like you to come to me and pray in a place in my house that I will take as a mosque. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "We will do it." When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered, he said: "Where do you want?" I pointed to a corner of the house. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood and we lined up behind him, and he prayed two rak'ahs with us.
