✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: “What do you say, O Bara', when you retire to your bed?” He said: I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: “When you retire to your bed in a state of purity, place your right hand under your cheek, then say: O Allah, I have submitted my face to You, and entrusted my affair to You, and leaned my back upon You, out of fear and desire of You. There is no refuge and no escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed, and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.” I said as he said, except that I said, "and in Your Messenger whom You have sent." He placed his hand on my chest and said: “And in Your Prophet whom You have sent.” Then he said: “Whoever says it on his night and then dies, dies upon the natural disposition.”
