✧ What to say to someone who has locked their invasion

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَبِي الْحُبَابِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ أَوْ تَمَاثِيلُ» فَقُلْتُ انْطَلِقْ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ نَسْأَلُهَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَأَتَيْنَاهَا فَقُلْتُ يَا أُمَّهْ إنَّ هَذَا أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَدْخُلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلَا تِمْثَالٌ» فَهَلْ سَمِعْتِ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ ذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَتْ لَا وَلَكِنْ سَأُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِمَا رَأَيْتُهُ فَعَلَ خَرَجَ فِي بَعْضِ غَزَوَاتِهِ وَكُنْتُ أَتَحَيَّنُ قُفُولَهُ فَأَخَذْتُ نَمَطًا فَسَتَرْتُهُ فَلَمَّا جَاءَ اسْتَقْبَلْتُهُ عَلَى الْبَابِ فَقُلْتُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَعَزَّكَ وَنَصَرَكَ وَأَكْرَمَكَ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or images." I said, "Let us go to 'A'ishah and ask her about that." So we came to her and I said, "O mother, this one informed me that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.' Have you heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention that?" She said, "No, but I will tell you what I saw him do. He went out on one of his expeditions, and I was awaiting his return. I took a patterned curtain and hung it up. When he came, I met him at the door and said, 'Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah, and the mercy of Allah. Praise be to Allah who has honored you, helped you, and shown you generosity.'" And she related the hadith.
