Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah and Ibn Abū ʿUmar
  2. Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah
  3. Ibn Abū Najīḥ
  4. Mujāhid

(I have had the privilege) of accompanying Ibn 'Umar up to Medina but I did not hear him narrate anything from Messenger of Allah ﷺ except one hadith. And he said: We were in the presence of Messenger of Allah ﷺ that there was brought to him the kernel of a date. The rest of the hadith is the same.
