حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُعْجِبُهُ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا ثَلَاثَةٌ: الطَّعَامُ، وَالنِّسَاءُ، وَالطِّيبُ، فَأَصَابَ ثِنْتَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُصِبْ وَاحِدَةً، أَصَابَ النِّسَاءَ وَالطِّيبَ، وَلَمْ يُصِبِ الطَّعَامَ.

Translation

Chain of narrators

  5. ʿĀʾishah

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ liked three things from this world: food, women, and perfume. He attained two and did not attain one. He attained women and perfume, but did not attain food.
