حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْفَضْلِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ تَدَّانُ، فَقِيلَ لَهَا: مَا لَكِ وَلِلدَّيْنِ ؟ قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ كَانَتْ لَهُ نِيَّةٌ فِي أَدَاءِ دَيْنِهِ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَوْنٌ. فَأَنَا أَلْتَمِسُ ذَلِكَ الْعَوْنَ

Translation

✧ Aishah used to take on debt. It was said to her: 'What is it with you and debt?' She said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "There is no servant who has an intention to repay his debt except that he has help from Allah, Mighty and Majestic." So I seek that help.'
