✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a woman at al-Baqi' who was crouching by a grave, weeping. He ﷺ said: "O slave woman of Allah, fear Allah and be patient." She said: "O servant of Allah, I am the bereaved and the childless." He said: "O slave woman of Allah, fear Allah and be patient." She said: "O servant of Allah, I have heard, so leave me." He said: "So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went on, and a man from his companions followed him, and he stood by the woman and said to her: 'What did the man who went away say to you?' She said: 'He said to me such and such.' He said: 'Did you recognize him?' She said: 'No.' He said: 'That was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' She jumped up quickly, saying: 'I will be patient, I will be patient, O Messenger of Allah.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Patience is at the first shock, patience is at the first shock.'
