✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his gaze to the sky, then lowered it. We said, “O Messenger of Allah, why did you do that?” He said, “I was amazed at two angels who descended to the earth seeking a servant in his prayer place, but they did not find him. Then they ascended to their Lord and said, ‘Our Lord, we used to record for Your believing servant such-and-such deeds in his day and night, but we found that You had detained him in Your snare, so we did not record anything for him.’ So He, Blessed and Exalted, said, ‘Record for My servant his deeds of his day and night, and do not diminish anything from them. Upon Me is his reward, for I detained him, and he shall have the reward of what he used to do.’”
