✧ How amazing is the believer and his distress at illness! If he knew what he has in illness, he would love to be ill forever." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his head to the sky and laughed. It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, why did you raise your head to the sky and laugh?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I marveled at two angels who were looking for a servant in a prayer place where he used to be, but they did not find him. So they returned and said: 'Our Lord, Your servant so-and-so: we used to record for him, each day and night, the deeds he used to do. We found that You had detained him in Your ropes.' Allah, Blessed and Exalted, said: 'Write for My servant the deeds he used to do each day and night, and do not diminish anything from them. Upon Me is the reward for what I detained him from, and for him is the reward for what he used to do.'"
