✧ The virtue of walking to the mosques at night

وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ أَبِي الْمُسَاوِرِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَيُحْسِنُ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ يَمْشِي إِلَى بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ اللهِ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ صَلَاةً مَكْتُوبَةً إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةِ حَسَنَةً

Translation

✧ There is no Muslim who performs ablution and does it well, then walks to one of the houses of Allah to pray an obligatory prayer in it, except that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, writes for him a good deed for every step.
