✧ The virtue of walking to the mosques at night

وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ: حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ، ثَنَا مَيْسَرَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ، قَالَا:

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا طَوِيلًا فِيهِ: وَمَنْ مَشَى إِلَى مَسْجِدٍ مِنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ فَلَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا عَشْرُ حَسَنَاتٍ، وَتُمْحَى عَنْهُ عَشْرُ سَيِّئَاتٍ، وَتُرْفَعُ بِهَا عَشْرُ دَرَجَاتٍ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave us a sermon and mentioned a long hadith, in which he said: 'Whoever walks to any mosque, for every step he takes he gets ten good deeds, ten evil deeds are erased from him, and he is raised by ten degrees.'
