عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ:
مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَلْقَى اللهَ غَدًا مُسْلِمًا فَلْيُحَافِظْ عَلَى هَذِهِ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ حَيْثُ يُنَادَى بِهِنَّ فَإِنَّهُنَّ مِنْ سُنَنِ الْهُدَى، وَإِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ شَرَعَ لِنَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ سُنَنَ الْهُدَى، وَلَعَمْرِي مَا إِخَالُ أَحَدَكُمْ إِلَّا وَقَدِ اتَّخَذَ مَسْجِدًا فِي بَيْتِهِ، وَلَوْ أَنَّكُمْ صَلَّيْتُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ كَمَا يُصَلِّي هَذَا الْمُتَخَلِّفُ فِي بَيْتِهِ لَتَرَكْتُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ، وَلَوْ تَرَكْتُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ لَضَلَلْتُمْ، وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا وَمَا يَتَخَلَّفُ عَنْهَا إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ مَعْلُومٌ نِفَاقُهُ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٌ نِفَاقَاهُ [١]، وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ الرَّجُلَ يُهَادَى بَيْنَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ، حَتَّى يُقَامَ فِي الصَّفِّ فَمَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَتَطَهَّرُ فَيُحْسِنُ الطُّهُورَ فَيَخْطُو خُطْوَةً يَعْمِدُ بِهَا إِلَى مَسْجِدٍ لِلهِ تَعَالَى إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةً وَرَفَعَ لَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً، وَحَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً، حَتَّى إِنْ كُنَّا لَنُقَارِبُ فِي الْخُطَا
Translation
✧ Whoever would be pleased to meet Allah tomorrow as a Muslim, let him maintain these prescribed prayers where the call to them is given, for they are among the sunan of guidance, and Allah has prescribed for your Prophet ﷺ the sunan of guidance. By my life, I think none of you has not taken a mosque in his house, and if you were to pray in your houses as this laggard prays in his house, you would abandon the sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ, and if you abandoned the sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ you would go astray. I have seen us when none stayed away from it except a hypocrite whose hypocrisy was known or one whose hypocrisy was acknowledged, and I have seen a man being supported between two men until he was placed in the row. No man performs ablution and does it well, then takes a step intending by it a mosque for Allah, except that Allah writes for him a good deed by it, raises him a degree by it, and erases a sin from him by it, until we used to take short steps.
