✧ The virtue of walking to the mosques at night

قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ:

مَنْ مَشَى فِي ظُلْمَةِ اللَّيْلِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ: لَقِيَ اللهَ تَعَالَى بِنُورٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. Abū Usāmah
  3. ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Yazīd b. Jābir
  4. Makḥūl
  5. Abū al-Dardāʾ
  6. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ Whoever walks in the darkness of the night to the mosque will meet Allah Almighty with light on the Day of Resurrection.
