✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned the Beast and said: It has three emergences in the course of time. It will emerge in the remotest part of the desert, and its mention will not enter the town—meaning Makkah. Then it will hide for a long time. Then it will emerge another time, less than that, and its mention will become prominent in the desert and its mention will enter the town—meaning Makkah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Then while the people are in the greatest mosque, the one most sacred to Allah—best and noblest, the Sacred Mosque—they will be startled only by it braying between the Corner and the Station, shaking the dust from its head. The people will disperse from it in all directions, but a band of believers will remain steadfast, knowing that they cannot escape Allah the Exalted. It will begin with them and brand their faces until it makes them like the shining star. Then it will depart into the earth, no pursuer catching it and no fleer escaping it, to the point that a man will seek refuge from it by prayer, and it will come to him from behind and say: Now, O so-and-so, you pray? He will turn to it, and it will mark his face, then go off. People will share in wealth and accompany one another in the cities, the believer being known from the disbeliever, so that the believer will say: O disbeliever, pay me my due, and the disbeliever will say: O believer, pay me my due.
