✧ The Beast will have three emergences over the course of time. Its first emergence will be in the farthest part of Yemen. Its mention will spread in the desert, but its mention will not enter the town—meaning Makkah. Then it will remain hidden for a long time after that. Then it will emerge a second time near Makkah, and its mention will spread among the desert dwellers and in Makkah. Then it will remain hidden for a long time. Then, while the people are in the greatest mosque in sanctity, the most beloved to Allah, and the most honored by Allah—the Sacred Mosque—they will be startled by it appearing on one side of the mosque, coming close and moving between the Black Stone and the gate of Banu Makhzum, to the right of the one exiting, in the middle of that area. The people will scatter from it in all directions, but a group of Muslims will stand firm, knowing that they cannot frustrate Allah. It will come out toward them, shaking dust from its head, and it will begin with them, polishing their faces until it leaves them like shining stars. Then it will depart into the earth; no pursuer can catch it, and no one fleeing can escape it. A man will seek refuge from it in prayer, and it will come to him from behind and say: 'O so-and-so, are you praying now?' He will turn to it, and it will brand his face. Then it will go away. People will live as neighbors in their homes, accompany each other on journeys, and share in wealth. The believer will recognize the disbeliever, until the disbeliever says: 'O believer, pay me my due,' and the believer says: 'O disbeliever, pay me my due.'
