✧ Our beloved and Prophet—may my father be his ransom, and my soul be his ransom—announced to us his own death a year before his death. When the parting drew near, he mentioned the hadith, and he said at its end: 'And whoever enters with you into your religion after me, I make you witness that I send peace—I think he said—upon him and upon everyone who follows me in my religion from this day of mine to the Day of Resurrection.'
