✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey. While we were traveling with him at night, his riding camel turned aside, and I followed him. When he saw me, he said: 'Where are the people?' I said: 'I left them at such-and-such a place.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made his camel kneel, then dismounted, then went away until he was hidden from me, and stayed for the time a man takes to relieve himself... he mentioned the hadith about wiping over the leather socks, and at the end he said: Then he said: 'Your need?' I said: 'I have no need.' Then we rode until we caught up with the people.
