حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَشِيرُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ؓ، قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَذْكُرُ أَهْلَ مَقْبَرَةٍ يَوْمًا، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا، فَأَكْثَرَ الصَّلَاةَ عَلَيْهَا، فَسُئِلَ عَنْهَا فَقَالَ: أَهْلُ مَقْبَرَةِ عَسْقَلَانَ، يُزَفُّونَ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ كَمَا تُزَفُّ الْعَرُوسُ إِلَى زَوْجِهَا

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ one day mentioning the people of a cemetery, and he prayed for it, increasing his prayers for it. He was asked about it, and he said: 'The people of the cemetery of 'Asqalan. They will be escorted to Paradise as a bride is escorted to her husband.'
