✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent to Sawdah his decision to divorce her. She said, "Among all his wives, he divorced me?" Then she sat in his path from Aisha's house. He passed by her, and she said, "I adjure you by the One who sent down the Book upon you and chose you over all creation: did you divorce me out of anger you felt toward me? I adjure you by the One who sent down the Book upon you and chose you over all creation: take me back. For by Allah, I have grown old, and I have no need of men, but I wish to be resurrected as one of your wives." So he took her back. She then said, "I give my day and night to the delight of the Messenger of Allah's eye, Aisha."
