وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، ثَنَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، ثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَمِيرَةَ أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ الْقَيْسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي مَيْمُونٌ الْكُرْدِيُّ أَبُو بَصِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ قَالَ:

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ آخِذٌ بِيَدِي وَنَحْنُ نَمْشِي فِي بَعْضِ سِكَكِ الْمَدِينَةِ إِذْ أَتَيْنَا عَلَى حَدِيقَةٍ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا أَحْسَنَهَا مِنْ حَدِيقَةٍ ! قَالَ ﷺ: لَكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْهَا حَتَّى مَرَرْنَا بِسَبْعِ حَدَائِقَ، كُلُّ ذَلِكَ أَقُولُ: مَا أَحْسَنَهَا ! وَيَقُولُ ﷺ: " لَكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْهَا " فَلَمَّا خَلَا لِي الطَّرِيقُ اعْتَنَقَنِي ثُمَّ أَجْهَشَ بَاكِيًا، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا يُبْكِيكَ ؟ قَالَ ﷺ: " ضَغَائِنُ فِي صُدُورِ أَقْوَامٍ لَا يُبْدُونَهَا إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِي " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فِي سَلَامَةٍ مِنْ دِينِي ؟ قَالَ ﷺ: " فِي سَلَامَةٍ مِنْ دِينِكَ

✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was holding my hand and we were walking in some streets of Madinah, we came upon a garden. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, how beautiful this garden is!" He ﷺ said, "You will have something more beautiful than it in Paradise." We passed by seven gardens, each time I said, "How beautiful it is!" and he ﷺ said, "You will have something more beautiful than it in Paradise." When the road became empty, he embraced me and then burst into tears. He said, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what makes you cry?" He ﷺ said, "Grudges in the hearts of people that they will not show except after me." He said, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, is my religion safe?" He ﷺ said, "Your religion is safe."
