حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَا: نَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ، قَالَ: نَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَمِيرَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَيْمُونٌ الْكُرْدِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ:

كُنْتُ أَمْشِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَهُوَ آخِذٌ بِيَدِي، فَمَرَرْنَا بِحَدِيقَةٍ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا أَحْسَنَهَا مِنْ حَدِيقَةٍ ! قَالَ: لَكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْهَا ثُمَّ مَرَرْنَا بِأُخْرَى، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا أَحْسَنَهَا مِنْ حَدِيقَةٍ ! قَالَ: " لَكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْهَا " حَتَّى مَرَرْنَا بِسَبْعِ حَدَائِقَ، كُلُّ ذَلِكَ أَقُولُ مَا أَحْسَنَهَا، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: " لَكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْهَا " فَلَمَّا خَلَا لَهُ الطَّرِيقُ اعْتَنَقَنِي، ثُمَّ أَجْهَشَ بَاكِيًا، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا يُبْكِيكَ ؟ قَالَ: " ضَغَائِنُ فِي صُدُورِ قَوْمٍ لَا يُبْدُونَهَا لَكَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِي "، قُلْتُ: فِي سَلَامَةٍ مِنْ دِينِي ؟ قَالَ: " فِي سَلَامَةٍ مِنْ دِينِكَ

✧ I was walking with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was holding my hand, and we passed by a garden. I said: O Messenger of Allah, how beautiful a garden it is! He said: "You have in Paradise something more beautiful than it." Then we passed by another, and I said: O Messenger of Allah, how beautiful a garden it is! He said: "You have in Paradise something more beautiful than it." Until we passed by seven gardens, each time I said how beautiful it is, and he said: "You have in Paradise something more beautiful than it." When the road became empty for him, he embraced me and then burst into tears. I said: O Messenger of Allah, what makes you weep? He said: "Grudges in the chests of people that they will not show to you except after me." I said: In safety of my religion? He said: "In safety of your religion."
