✧ While the Messenger of God ﷺ was holding my hand and we were walking in some lanes of Madinah, we came upon a garden. I said: “O Messenger of God, how beautiful a garden it is!” He said: “For you in Paradise is what is more beautiful than it.” Then we passed by another, and I said: “O Messenger of God, how beautiful a garden it is.” He said: “For you in Paradise is what is more beautiful than it.” Until we passed by seven gardens, each time I said: “How beautiful it is!” and he said: “For you in Paradise is what is more beautiful than it.” When the road became empty for him, he embraced me and then burst into tears. He said: I said: “O Messenger of God, what makes you weep?” He said: “Grudges in the chests of people; they will not show them to you except after me.” He said: I said: “O Messenger of God, will my religion be safe?” He said: “Your religion will be safe.”
