وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ؓ
أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ ذَلِكَ حِينَ أَعْطَى عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ ؓ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَا جَهَّزَ بِهِ جَيْشَ الْعُسْرَةِ، فَجَاءَ ؓ بِسَبْعِمِائَةِ أُوقِيَّةِ ذَهَبٍ
