حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ الْبَرَّاءُ يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ:

أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ ذَاكَ حِينَ أَعْطَى عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَا جَهَّزَ بِهِ جَيْشَ الْعُسْرَةِ، فَجَاءَ بِسَبْعِمِائَةِ وُقِيَّةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ
