✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent 'Ammar b. Yasir ؓ to the well of the polytheists to draw water from it, and around it were three rows of guards protecting it. He drew water into his water-skins, then came forward until he reached the first row, and they seized him. He said: "Leave me, for I am only drawing water for your companions." So they released him. Then he returned a second time, and they seized him and did the same to him, then released him. He went and returned again, and they seized him and did the same to him. When they tried to make him utter disbelief, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent the cavalry and they rescued him. Then this verse was revealed concerning him: "Except him who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is at peace with faith."
