قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دِرْهَمٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ؓ، قَالَ:

أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ نَبْنِي الْمَسْجِدَ، فَقَالَ: « أَوْسِعُوهُ [تَمْلَؤُوهُ

Translation

    يرويه محمد بن درهم المدائني واختلف عنه فرواه محمد بن جعفر المدائني وحجاج بن منهال وسعيد بن زكريا فقالوا عن كعب بن عبد الرحمن الأنصاري عن أبيه عن أبي قتادة ورواه أبو داود ومحمد بن الفضل بن عطية عن محمد بن درهم عن كعب الأنصاري عن أبي قتادة ولم يقولا عن أبيه ورواه قيس بن الربيع عن محمد بن درهم فقال عن كعب بن عبد الرحمن بن كعب بن مالك عن أبيه عن جده عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فأسنده عن كعب بن مالك والقول قول من أسنده عن أبي قتادة لاتفاقهم على خلاف قيس ومحمد بن درهم ضعيف والحديث غير ثابت
