حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ
أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْ شَهِدَ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ حِينَ حَضَرَتْهُ الْوَفَاةُ يَقُولُ ارْفَعُوا عَنِّي سَجْفَ الْقُبَّةِ حَتَّى أُحَدِّثْكُمْ حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَمْ يَمْنَعُنِي أَنْ أُحَدِّثَكُمُوهُ إِلَّا أَنْ تَتَّكِلُوا سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُخْلِصًا مِنْ قَلْبِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمْ تَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ»

✧ Someone who witnessed Mu'adh b. Jabal when death came to him informed us, saying: Raise from me the curtain of the dome so that I may relate to you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of God ﷺ. Nothing prevented me from relating it to you except that you might rely upon it. I heard him say: "Whoever bears witness that there is no god but God sincerely from his heart enters Paradise and the Fire will not touch him."
