وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، ثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي فَائِدٌ مَوْلَى عَبَادِلَ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: إِنَّ جَدَّتَهُ سَلْمَى أَخْبَرَتْهُ قَالَتْ:

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ؓ فَقَالُوا: اصْنَعِي لَنَا طَعَامًا مِمَّا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُحِبُّ أَنْ يَأْكُلَهُ، قَالَتْ لِلْحَسَنِ: يَا بُنَيَّ، إِنَّا لَا نَشْتَهِيهِ الْيَوْمَ، فَأَخَذَتْ شَعِيرًا فَطَحَنَتْهُ، وَنَسَفَتْهُ، وَجَعَلَتْ مِنْهُ خُبْزَةً وَجَعَلَتْ أُدْمَهُ الزَّيْتَ وَنَثَرَتْ عَلَيْهِ فُلْفُلًا، وَقَرَّبَتْهُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَقَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُحِبُّ هَذِهِ وَيُحْسِنُ أَكْلَهَا

✧ Al-Hasan ibn 'Ali, 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas, and 'Abdullah ibn Ja'far ؓ entered upon me and said: Make for us food from what the Prophet ﷺ loved to eat. She said to al-Hasan: O my son, we do not desire it today. So she took barley, ground it, sifted it, made a loaf from it, and made its condiment oil, sprinkled pepper on it, and brought it to them. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ loved this and enjoyed eating it.
