✧ …until we came to the house of Malik b. al-Tayyihan, Abu al-Haytham al-Ansari ؓ. And he [the narrator] added at its end: Then he supplicated for them for good, and then he ﷺ said to Abu al-Haytham: «When you hear that some slaves have come to us, come to us.» Abu al-Haytham ؓ said: When I heard that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had been brought slaves, I went to Madinah, and he gave me a head [i.e., a slave], whom I contracted to manumit for forty thousand dirhams. I never saw a head with greater blessing than his. ʿAbdullah b. ʿIsa said: I narrated it to Ismaʿil b. Muslim al-Makki, and he narrated something similar to me, and added in it: Umm al-Haytham said to him: “Would you supplicate for us?” He ﷺ said: «May the fasting break their fast at your place, may the righteous eat your food, and may the angels send blessings upon you»

machine translationʿAbdullāh b. ʿĪsā is inconsistent in hadith (muḍṭarib al-ḥadīth); all of his hadiths are solitary narrations (ifrādāt), and the reports from him differ because of his inconsistency in his narrations.
