✧ There is no obligatory prayer other than the five

وَقَالَ عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي هَارُونَ [الْعَبْدِيِّ]، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ؓ، قَالَ:

فُرِضَتِ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ الْإِسْرَاءِ خَمْسِينَ صَلَاةً، ثُمَّ نَقَصَتْ حَتَّى جُعِلَتْ خَمْسًا، فَقَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: « كَانَ لَكَ فِي الْخَمْسِ خَمْسِينَ، الْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا

Translation

✧ Prayer was made obligatory on the Messenger of God ﷺ on the night of the Isra as fifty prayers, then it was reduced until it was made five. God, Mighty and Majestic, said: 'You have in the five the reward of fifty; a good deed is multiplied tenfold.'
