✧ A man in Madinah said in a gathering: 'Which of you will narrate to me a hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?' Ali ؓ said to him: 'I will. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "I do not fear for my Ummah a believer or a disbeliever. As for the believer, his faith will restrain him, and as for the disbeliever, his disbelief will restrain him. But I fear for a man between them who recites the Quran until, when it becomes smooth on his tongue, he interprets it in a way other than its true interpretation. He says, 'What do you know?' and does what you condemn, and thus he goes astray and leads others astray."'
