✧ Whoever introduces into Islam a new thing, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. Neither sarf nor 'adl will be accepted from him. It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the hadath (new thing)?' He ﷺ said: 'Whoever kills a soul without a soul, or mutilates without just retaliation, or innovates a bid'ah without a Sunnah.' He said: 'Al-'adl is the ransom, and al-sarf is repentance.'
