✧ The times when prayer is forbidden

وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ:

إِنَّ رَجُلًا رَأَى أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ ؓ، [صَلَّى] وَقَدِ اصْفَرَّتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَالَ: يَا أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ، تَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ ؟ ! قَالَ: أَجَلْ، إِلَّا أَنَّ هَذَا الْبَيْتَ لَيْسَ كَغَيْرِهِ

Translation

✧ A man saw Abu al-Darda' ؓ praying when the sun had turned yellow, and he said: "O companions of Muhammad, you forbid prayer after Fajr and after 'Asr?" He said: "Yes, except that this house is not like others."
