- [وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ]: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ثَنَا [عَنْبَسَةُ] الْوَزَّانُ، قَالَ:
كُنَّا فِي جِنَازَةٍ فِيهَا بُدَيْلٌ، فَقَالَ - وَالشَّمْسُ مُصْفَرَّةٌ عَلَى أَطْرَافِ الْحِيطَانِ -: لَا تُصَلُّوا هَذِهِ السَّاعَةَ. فَقَالَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ ؓ: صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ هَذِهِ السَّاعَةَ
Translation

✧ We were at a funeral in which Budayl was present, and he said—while the sun was yellow on the edges of the walls—"Do not pray at this hour." Abu Umamah ؓ said: "I prayed with Abu Hurayrah ؓ over a funeral at this hour."
