حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْمُجَوِّزُ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا قُرَيْشُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْعِجْلِيُّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ فَرُّوخٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ؟ فَقَالَ «تَسْأَلُنِي عَنْ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ وَتَدَعُ أَظْفَارَكَ كَأَظْفَارِ الطَّيْرِ تَجْتَمِعُ فِيهَا الْخَبَاثَةُ وَالتَّفَثُ»

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about the news of the sky. He said, 'You ask me about the news of the sky while you leave your nails like the claws of birds, in which filth and dirt accumulate.'
