✧ He passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said to him: "O Harith, how have you entered upon the morning?" He replied: "I have entered upon the morning as a true believer." He ﷺ said: "Consider what you say, for everything has a reality. So what is your reality?" He ؓ said: "I have turned myself away from the world, spending my day thirsty and my night awake. It is as if I am looking at the Throne of my Lord appearing, and as if I am looking at the people of Paradise visiting one another therein, and as if I am looking at the people of the Fire howling therein—meaning, crying out." He ﷺ said: "O Harith, you have come to know, so adhere to it," three times.
