وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ. / 2 - قَالَ الْحَارِثُ: وَحَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ قَالَ:

إِنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ ؓ كَانَ يَشْتَكِي رِجْلَهُ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ أَخُوهُ، وَقَدْ جَعَلَ إِحْدَى رِجْلَيْهِ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى، وَهُوَ مُضْطَجِعٌ، فَضَرَبَهُ ضَرْبَةً بِيَدِهِ عَلَى رِجْلِهِ الْوَجِعَةِ، فَأَوْجَعَهُ، فَقَالَ: أَوْجَعْتَنِي، أَوَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ رِجْلِي وَجِعَةٌ، قَالَ: بَلَى. قَالَ: فَمَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ: أَوَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَانَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ

✧ Abu Sa`id ؓ was complaining of pain in his leg. His brother entered upon him while he had placed one leg over the other and was lying down. He struck him with his hand on his painful leg and hurt him. Abu Sa`id said: 'You have hurt me! Did you not know that my leg is painful?' He said: 'Yes.' Abu Sa`id said: 'What made you do that?' He said: 'Did you not hear that the Messenger of God ﷺ forbade us from that?'
