✧ Kindness to Parents

وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الْهِلَالِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ دَاجَةَ الْمَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عِقَالُ بْنُ شَبَهِ بْنِ عِقَالِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ الْمُجَاشِعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ صَعْصَعَةَ قَالَ:

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَنْ أَبَرُّ ؟ قَالَ: « أُمَّكَ، أَبَاكَ، أُخْتَكَ، أَخَاكَ، أَدْنَاكَ، أَدْنَاكَ »

✧ I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of God, whom should I be kind to? He said: Your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, the nearest to you, the nearest to you.
