✧ I set up snares at al-Abwāʾ, and a bird fell into one of the snares but escaped, so I went out after it and found a man who had taken it. We disputed over it and raced together to the Messenger of God ﷺ. We found him taking a midday nap at al-Abwāʾ under a tree, shading himself with a leather mat. We brought our dispute to him, and he divided it between us into two halves.
