وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عُقَيْلِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَصِيبِ، قَالَ:
إِنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ؓ عَنِ الْأُضْحِيَّةِ، فَقَالَ: اكْرَهْ وَاجْتَنِبِ الْعَوْرَاءَ، بَيِّنٌ عَوَرُهَا. وَالْعَرْجَاءَ بَيِّنٌ عَرَجُهَا، وَالْمَرِيضَةَ بَيِّنٌ مَرَضُهَا، وَالْمَهْزُولَةَ بَيِّنٌ هُزَالُهَا
Translation

✧ A man asked Ibn 'Umar ؓ about the sacrificial animal, and he said: 'Avoid and shun the one-eyed whose defect is clear, the lame whose lameness is clear, the sick whose sickness is clear, and the emaciated whose emaciation is clear.'
