وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ ظِبْيَانَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي حَنِيفَةَ، قَالَ: " سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ يَقُولُ:

ذَهَبْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى يَهُودِ بَنِي قَيْنُقَاعَ، فَأَبْصَرَ رَجُلًا مُتَخَلِّقًا فَقَبَضَ يَدَهُ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، لَعَلَّهُ عَرُوسٌ، قَالَ ﷺ: وَإِنْ، اذْهَبْ فَاغْسِلْهُ ثُمَّ انْهَكْهُ، ثُمَّ اغْسِلْهُ ثُمَّ انْهَكْهُ [ثُمَّ اغْسِلْهُ ثُمَّ انْهِكْهُ]

✧ I went with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to the Jews of Banu Qaynuqa', and he saw a man perfumed with khalouq, so he withdrew his hand. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, perhaps he is a bridegroom.' He ﷺ said, 'Even so. Go and wash it off him, then scrub him, then wash it off him, then scrub him, [then wash it off him, then scrub him].'
