✧ The Virtue of Prayer

مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ هُوَ ابْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، ثَنَا مُهَاجِرٌ أَبُو مَخْلَدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

« أَوَّلُ مَا يُحَاسَبُ بِهِ الْعَبْدُ طُهُورُهُ، فَإِنْ أَحْسَنَ طُهُورَهُ فَصَلَاتُهُ كَنَحْوِ طُهُورِهِ، ثُمَّ يُحَاسَبُ بِصَلَاتِهِ، فَإِنْ حَسُنَتْ صَلَاتُهُ فَسَائِرُ عَمَلِهِ كَنَحْوٍ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ

Translation

  4. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ The first thing for which a servant will be brought to account is his purification. If he perfects his purification, then his prayer will be similar to his purification. Then he will be brought to account for his prayer. If his prayer is good, then the rest of his deeds will be similar to his prayer.
