وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ جَمِيعًا: حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ، قَالَ:
إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَصَفَّحَ النَّاسَ فَرَأَى رَجُلًا وَبِيَدِهِ قَوْسٌ عَرَبِيَّةٌ، فَقَالَ: عَلَيْكَ بِهَذِهِ وَأَمْثَالِهَا، وَرِمَاحِ الْقَنَا ; فَإِنَّ بِهَذَا يُمَكِّنُ اللهُ تَعَالَى لَكُمْ فِي الْبِلَادِ وَيُؤَيِّدُ لَكُمْ فِي النَّصْرِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ scanned the people and saw a man with an Arabic bow in his hand, so he said: 'Keep to this and its like, and the lances of qana (a type of spear); for by means of this, Allah Most High will enable you to gain control in the lands and will support you in victory.'
