✧ Racing and Archery, and What Has Come About the Virtue of Archery

قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبٌ، حَدَّثَنِي الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ، قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ أَجْلَبَ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ يَوْمَ الرِّهَانِ، وَلَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ خَبَّبَ عَبْدًا عَلَى سَيِّدِهِ، وَلَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ أَفْسَدَ امْرَأَةً عَلَى زَوْجِهَا

✧ He is not from us who shouts to urge horses on the day of racing, and he is not from us who incites a slave against his master, and he is not from us who corrupts a woman against her husband.
