قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَصِينٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ وَثَّابٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مَسْرُوقًا قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ يَقُولُ:

« إِذَا قَالَ: أَمْرُكِ بِيَدِكِ، وَاسْتَصْلِحِي بِأَمْرِكِ، وَقَدْ وَجَّهْتُكِ لِأَهْلِكِ إِنْ قَبِلُوهَا - فَوَاحِدَةٌ بَائِنَةٌ

Translation

✧ If he says: 'Your affair is in your hand,' 'Take care of your own affair,' or 'I have directed you to your family if they accept her' - it is one irrevocable divorce.
