✧ Ibn Abi 'Atiq came to Zayd b. Thabit ؓ while weeping. He said: 'What makes you weep?' He said: 'I gave my wife authority over her affair, and she separated from me.' He said: 'What made you do that?' He said: 'Destiny.' He said: 'It is one divorce; if you wish, take her back, and if you wish, leave her.'
