✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ twice. Once I saw him in the market of Dhu'l-Majaz while he was on a mount and its hocks had been bloodied... And he mentioned the hadith. He said: Then we came after that and disembarked at Madinah, and a man came out to us and said: From where have you come? We said: From al-Rabadhah, or from its vicinity. He said: Do you have anything you would sell? We said: Yes, this camel. He said: For how much? We said: For such-and-such wasqs of dates. He took hold of its halter and pulled it, and then entered Madinah with it. I said: What have we done? We sold our camel to a man we do not know! He said: And with us was a lady companion in the side of the tent, and she said: I guarantee the price of the camel. I have seen the face of a man like the full moon on the night of Badr; he will not cheat you. When morning came, a man came with dates and said: I am the messenger of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to you, that you eat from these dates until you are full, and that you take full measure until you receive your due. He said: And we did so.
