✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ twice... And he mentioned the hadith. He said: We came in a caravan from al-Rabadhah until we disembarked near Madinah, and with us was our lady companion. He said: While we were sitting, a man came to us wearing two white garments. He greeted us and we returned his greeting. He said: From where have the people come? We said: From al-Rabadhah, and south of al-Rabadhah. He said: And with us was a red camel. He said: Will you sell me the camel? We said: Yes. He said: For how much? We said: For such-and-such sa's of dates. He said: He did not reduce anything for us, and said: I have taken it. Then he took hold of the camel's head until he entered Madinah and disappeared from us. We blamed each other, saying: You gave your camel to a man you do not know! The lady companion said: Do not blame yourselves, for I have seen a face that would never betray you. I have never seen a man whose face more resembled the full moon on the night of Badr than his face. When the evening came, a man came and said: Peace be upon you. Indeed I am the messenger of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to you, and he commands you to eat until you are full, and to take full measure until you receive your due. So we ate until we were full, and took full measure until we received our due. When the next day came, we entered Madinah, and behold the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was standing on the pulpit delivering a sermon to the people.
