حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

الْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: فَلَمْ أَسْأَلْ عُمَرَ، فَمَنْ سِوَاهُ مِنَ النَّاسِ

Translation

✧ The upper hand is better than the lower hand. Ibn ʿUmar said: I did not ask ʿUmar about it, nor anyone else among the people.
